HS Precision Mag kit on LTR

Hi there. I'm having a hard time releasing the mag (3 round) on my LTR after putting the HS Precision mag kit in. Mag release works fine out of the rifle, but when it's installed, it won't budge. The kit was pretty tight fitting and I had to work it in. Is this a common issue? I think all I should have to do is dremel the stock a bit around the edges, but I though I'd check here first.
