I was wondering if any knows why no Canadian companies import pistols directly from HS Produkt in Croatia?
For a while, Tactical Imports was looking at bringing in their VHS rifle in semi auto but that wasn't moving anywhere so it seemed to die off.
Personally I am not a big fan of the Springfield XD/XDM series of pistols but I know a lot of people do like them and so I'm wondering why no one imports them directly from HS in Croatia to the Canadian market as they would be cheaper then the Springfield stamped versions coming through the States.
I would personally be interested in one of their HS2000/HS-9 pistols even though I am not an XD fan, purely from a collectors stand point. I like to own firearms which are used by actual Militaries and I personally think an HS-9 with original marking and no Springfield markings would be a nice addition to the collection.
My understanding is the original HS2000's which came into the U.S. were being sold for less then $300.00 so I figure if someone was to import the HS Produkt XDM and HS pistols, they would be a big hit since they would be the same guns as the Springfield marked versions but at a much better price.
