Been meaning to pick these up for some time... Now I don't have to! My (very understanding) wife surprised me with them as an early Xmas present:

Now I'm just going to have to find the time to read them (from cover to cover of course...)...:)

BRII was unfortunately disappointing, very few manufacturers allowed Bartocci access to their MD/NS, SOPMOD II items - as such he took some to their word and ended up with a poor relation of the story.
Furthermore he go led down the garden path by a few other manufactuers about claims of their items.

Col (US SF ret.) Gus Taylor (who runs SOPMOD) at Crane and the previous PM for MD/NS - would have been an A+ source...
So would have been a number of the S7 pers in the SF cirlces or retires USASOC people like Mr. Vickers or Mr. Gordon who ran weapons development for Hk and others.

Awwww... Now you've gone and ruined the ending for me Kevin... ;o) No worries though, I still appreciate the gesture on my wife's part. Besides... any book(s) on "black guns" are always welcome in my library....

You got a source for this claim, buddy? Any reason at all that makes you think this?

I strongly disagree with you. The barrel is no where near large enough for the .68 calibre painballs.
