So has anybody used these things? A misspent youth has made me go fuzzy.

It can be a bit challenging to get your eye piece focused when you use the booster. I have a couple of them on weaver T36 scopes, a 3x boost gives you 12 more power for a total of 48 power. on a 15 power scope you will boost to 20 power. For the clarity of the added power purchase a new scope with the appropriate power. Just my 2 cents though
