HUB SPORTS price gouge

you have to shop around to get what you want. I would regularly go to Aggasiz, Maple Ridge, Vancouver and Surrey, and even the local Walmart. There is also a store in Langley I havent been to yet.
I cant say the names of the stores cause it will be deleted or something like that, but you have to shop around to get a good deal. Call ahead and make sure they have what your looking for before you go. Its well worth it.

i find Hub to be great for fishing gear and the odd hunting accessory. i'm pretty regular there so i get a decent deal. however, i don't buy ammo. they had brick of .22 American Eagle for $15.99 about 3 months ago. it's now $29.95. they're 7mm is pushing $45 - $50 a box. i can buy my 7mm for $36 bucks taxes in at CT. they're gun prices can be high as well. all they're fishing stuff is very reasonably prices, and they're more than willing to deal with you on it.

they have the best customer service i've found so far in the lower mainland. Chilliwack D&T was ok. Italian will not be getting my business again, and Reliable might see a few dollars, but not likely. i'm willing to pay a few bucks extra if i get real good service. believe it or not, i had better service at the edmonton WSS than i did at Chilliwack D&tT, Italian and Reliable combined.
 
I have bought several rifles now from Hubs and Roger has always been fair to me. Bought a Ruger 10/22 stainless barell with synthetic stock, BSA 3-9x32mm and 2 bricks of 22LR ammo all in including taxes for 480.00$. Not bad in my opinion. Just the rifle alone sells everywhere else for 380.00+tax. He also brought in a Remmington 870 Express 12ga left handed with wood stock for me, 430.00$ plus tax. Not a bad place to deal with in my opinion. I just don't like thier attitude towards taking Milsurp on consignment. I'm a .303 guy and they refuse to accept them on consignment. I even offered to give them my cell number so people could call me if they wanted to sell something and they wouldn't accept it. Oh well can't win them all I guess. I never buy my ammo there. I get it from Reliable gun. Pretty good guys to deal with.

Anyways just my thoughts.
