Good day,

I have the oppurtunity to buy a 16 gauge side by side Hubertus - Suhl and a 20 gauge Parker Hale model by Ugartechea. Both guns seem to be in good condition.

Does anyone have any info on the value and reliabilty of this guns?

Thanks

Ugartechea makes nice guns. But there's a range of models, and therefore prices. I'd have to see some pics, get more details. Gauge, barrel & choke, receiver finish, extractors/ejectors, triggers, etc.

The Parker Hale Ugartechea's are boxlocks comparable to the Ugartechea Model 40. Having seen a few of these guns my sense is that PH held Ugartechea to a higher standard as far as fit and finish was concerned and they are a cut above the standard Ugartechea production at the time.

What kind of dollar value is the seller looking for?

Thanks for the responses.

The Parker Hale (20 gauge) has a silver reciever with nice scroll engravings, straight stock, fixed chokes (improved & modified) and in very good condition.

The Hubertus - Suhl (16 gauge) has a darker reciever with pheasants endraved on it, full and modified chokes, pistol grip and in good condition.

What is the most I should pay for them?
