Hudsons Bay 45-70 by Kynoch - IAA thread

Still find it strange they had 45-70 from Kynoch rather than pretty much any US maker at the time.
Anyone seen these around before?

It doesn't surprise me at all. The Hudson's Bay Company was a British firm and it makes sense that they would try to do business with other British firms as much as possible.

I don't know what year those are from, but relations with the States might not have been very good at the time. Just like now.

The people that ran HB where mostly from Britain with strong connections to there so doesn’t surprise me. A lot of Kynox ammunition was sold in this country. I still find old boxes of ammunition at least a couple times a year that people have stashed away.
