Huge Deactivated/Dewat Gun Collection Video

I'm taking MMMYYYYY ball and going home.
Turning a functioning gun into a pile of parts and destroying the receiver is much worse than dewatting.
There's already tons of parts kits on the market. They're all over the United States and very cheap.
For example a Thompson parts kit might bring $500 if you're lucky while a complete Dewatt Thompson will bring $1500-$1800 or maybe more. The Dewatt can also be used in a WWII firearm display while the pile of parts is really nothing interesting or rare the look at.
I suppose a pile of parts is better than your other suggestion of melting them down though! The OP bought these guns ALREADY dewatt'd by Collectors Source.
Deactivated machine guns are what's available to us in Canada. The chances of us being able to own full-auto machine guns again are extremely unlikely. We're all fighting the battle to get them back, but until that happens and we live in Canada the dewatt will have to hold that place in our collections.
The OP wants full autos also but in the meantime he has some placeholders. I respect his admiration for having historical items, even if modified.

So your rather have them broken up into pieced that can't be re-assembled to look like a gun here?
Or turned into rebar?
I'd rather have a dewat MG34 on my mantle than pieces of it buried in my concrete driveway.
Do you know anyone who has successfully exported a machine gun to Europe recently?
I know a guy who tried this year, and it didn't work. Just getting an ATT to transport them ANYWHERE is becoming a nightmare, from those who I've talked to about it (maybe someone licensed can fill us in more?).
There's a simple reason why Collectors Source is buying full autos to deactivate. They're available cheap because few people are licensed to buy them, so at auction it's easy to get them for good prices. They then deactivate the guns themselves and are then able to sell them for significantly more money. It's simple business, and if they could sell to Europe as full autos they would be very happy to do that as I'm sure it would be profitable as well.

I collect dewats myself. I'd rather have fully functioning examples but I don't have the right license and never will.
I am just curious…what type of dewats do you own?
there are approximately 1200 people with legal converted mgs in Canada and 500 legal full auto owners . kiss the days of ever owning or taking them to the range good buy. in this police state it will never happen. 1700 people won’t even get a seat in parliament.
Well besides the usual Sten, I have a dewat Česká Zbrojovka vz.24 (no German waffenamts), a 6.35mm Mauser m1914, an Esperanza y Unceta Astra Model 16 (Ruby) and a Model 1908 Pieper Bayard. Can't remember if its a 6.35mm or 7.65mm.
I'm looking for a prewar Melior in 7.65mm amongst a few others..

This pisses me off. Not that you own them, but that in order for you to own them they must be rendered non-operable. Smaller, older pistols from that time-frame are in no small part what made me get into guns. Between drooling over pictures of PPK's and listening intently to my Dad's stories about using the C1A1 in basic officer training, a gun nut was born when I was 17 years old - six or so years ago.
I can't own any of these. Most of us can't.
Why?

Hey I can feel your pain. The Mauser 1914 is just beautiful even as a dewat. I've read that the internal fit and finish was excellent but I will never know unless someone with a 12.6 shows me one.
