Went to a local Vancouver gun store and was looking for some ammo to feed my new CZ-858 Tactical "Bad-Boy". He had very lethal looking hunting ammo made in the USA which was not corrosive BUT was expensive- about a buck a shot. He then said he had some 7.62 x 39 Hungarian ammo. The store owner said that his distributor claimed that the ammo was non-corrosive but the store owner was not 100% sure. Although he no complaints re corrosion from the Hungarian ammo, the store owner is a tad skeptical of ammo from the Eastern Block.
My question: Hungarian ammo good.....ie non corrosive? Hungarian ammo bad.... ie Is corrosive. The ammo is FMJ 123gr made in Hungary- company name is "MFS".
Gentlemen let me know what your experience is with this particular ammo or if you know for sure if this ammo is 100% corrosive or not.
