Just curious if anyone has any pistols made by FEG? I've been looking at the FEG P9R in 9x19mm and I'm wondering if anyone here has ever used one or seen one up for sale?

For the Huns here its Fegyver es Gazkeszuelekgyara, which we'll call FEG ;)

Apparently there was a Mauser version of this handgun named Mauser 90DA and was distributed as such. But Mauser also distributed the FEG versions.

My sister has one that was purchased from a CGN member and it seems to be a solid pistol. I believe it has the double action trigger on it as well as the slide mounted safety. It was reasonably accurate but I had a couple of ejection issues on the last round. I am not a fan of the Browning HP style pistol but it works well for her.

Hi Robobogner,

I had one for awhile, then sold it on here. I really liked it! The trigger was quite good in both double and single action modes, the finish was nice and the accuracy quite acceptable. I only sold it to buy an actual Browning Hi Power. I say "good gun". :)

Best wishes, Jeff/1911.

They make good guns.

My first 9mm was one of the DAs. It is registered as "Browning Reproduction", though it owes more to the S&W 59 DA series than to any of the Brownings.

I have one of the early Browning High Power clones. All of the parts interchange with the exception of the slide stop (slightly different shape). These were excellent guns (the Israelis, KBI, Charles Daly & Mauser ect apparently agreed~they were apparently just repackaged FEGs)

The new "high power" as sold by TSE ect uses the S&W type barrel lock up with the BHP slide & frame. While it's not what I was looking for, I have thought about buying & shooting one to pieces. It may? handle extensive 9mm NATO loads better than a real BHP.
