I am pleased to announce the second annual Dundurn, SK Hungry M14 clinic, and the first Annual Hungry CQB clinic. This is a full four days of shooting goodness you will not want to miss, we had a blast last year and that was only a one day clinic. Now with 75% more awesome.
Here is the info on what will be happening:
Range Fees are $5 a day for Non Dundurn Rod and Gun members, for a total of $15 for all three range days. Collected day one, in class
M14 Clinics (2 day format)
Registration at: PM Hungry http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/member.php?12180-Hungry
Cost: $50 per Day, not including Range/Insurance fees
Timings: 0900 start - Likely finish up around 1600 hrs each day...
Second day evening:
PICK Barney's Brain Session in the restaurant or clinic venue depending on where we are.
Registration and Payment: You can choose EMT (electronic money transfer for you online banking fans), the EMT instructions are in the [Contact Me] Page. If you choose the Snail Mail payment by cheques/buried cash, email me, see the [Contact Me] link/page.
Material Covered:
- Tools for tweaking, tools to avoid, tools that are nice to have but expensive, tools that are overrated and too expensive
- Gadgets that are nice to have, need to have, and useless to have (but I had to buy it to show you)
- Tools that you can make yourself instead of buying, tools that you can have buddies (owe you favours) make up for you
- Stripping the boomstick (you will be surprised at what I can show you)
- Assembling the boomstick, and what to look for so that worthwhile tweaks can be or should be made
- Tweaks that work, tweaks that don't work, expensive tweaks so yer #### does not fall off
- Useless tweaks unless you have more money than shooting ability (many stories to follow at the clinic)
- Common pitfalls, expensive tweaks that work, more ways to ensure that yer #### don't fall off
- Lunch and then tweaking in the afternoon, shimming, pounding out more shims (all hands on activities)
- Lots of networking and socializing all the time. This is priceless (even if the $ 35 only covers my costs).
