Bad joke. It seems like every thread in this forum that implies that if the hunter isn't Bear Grylls in a survival situation isn't "true" hunting. Baiting bears, road hunting, sitting in your kitchen, etc. I knew I should have majored in Sarcasm in college.

In rural New Zealand much of the domestic water supply is by steel roof catchment and large water cisterns, it just makes sense...

I just finished cleaning up.

I know I have not been spending much time here in hunting, too much work cleaning up in politics and news.

does anyone have experience with shocking a old well? my wife had ours tested last season and we were told that it had e coli in it.

We got our chlorine from a pool supply place and poured in enough so when we ran it through the pipes you could clearly smell bleach, and then let it set for a day before flushing out the pipes . It only took 1 jug! We also fixed the upper section of the well where it leaked during have rains and caused the problem
