Just wondering what or if any protocols people will be using or have in place this year at hunt camp with the wuhan flu? Obviously smaller camps with small groups don't have as much to worry about as some big camps with big numbers. Personally, I think it's gonna be tough to keep any distance with some of the camps being so communal .

Its impossible at my camp to keep social distance and sanitation. When everyone has to use the same washing facilities, outhouse, and kitchen, it just cant happen.

The bigger question for me is will COs be instructed to enforce the 10 person bubble that is legally binding in Ontario? Around here they often travel in tandem with OPP, and Im pretty sure I know what OPP is going to do if they encounter a camp of 10+ people.

There is also the worry of someones insurance company suing us if they were to get sick at our camp and had to put a claim in.

It'll be business as usual for us. We're only 4 people, and the other 3 are some of my best friends and they are already in my bubble. I will have a mask in my truck in case I need to go into the gas station or something, but otherwise it'll be no different than previous years (other than the location and the fact we got a moose draw!)

Man that would suck! What would be the grounds of that? If there are more than 10 people, then they're breaking the law which would allow an in for the insurance companies lawyers? I assume you can't normally sue someone for making you sick, although these aren't normal times...?

I wouldn't be too concerned. The provincial parks are doing f*** all to enforce any of the bubble numbers and have shared facilities unmanned with a sign that says "max 2 people" - and they too have OPP on the grounds as well outside them to keep it in check. Was at Sibbald point 3 weeks ago for camping so i saw first hand.

I thought we were up to groups of 50 people in Ontario now with Stage 3.

It's 50 people indoor or 100 people outdoors.

Yep, the covid is sooooo bad and yet the government is telling people that such large groups are a-ok. Wake up people and stop beng such sheep.

An insurance company wont be suing. If a law suit arises, the person who retained a lawyer is one of your hunt buddies.

Hazmat suit and fitted half mask in combination with a face shield... It's the only save option in a hunting camp! f:P:
