PM Me, im all ears :)

Would love to experience some Canadian mountain camping/ hunting.

How are you planning on pulling this in AB or BC without being an inlaw or relative?

Tell me how it's possible in BC and I'm game. I have all of next August off which encompasses goats and caribou in my area and early season moose and sheep where I used to live ( an area I honestly know better). Both very good bear areas with my current area having good trophy quality nearby

Bear in mind hunting ethics in Canada are extremely different and plan for the weather.

Still single if you have a sister :p

A lot of those species aren't available for the host program either, even if he was related to you. Region 6 is a No for sheep, caribou, moose for example.

Too bad, maybe he wants to go deer hunting in Chilliwack

I don't need this negativity, I'm just trying to help my brother in law here

Guy just wants to chase a few deers here or there ;)

AB is sort of the Welcoming State for the Host program --

I didn't think I was being negative, just providing pertinent information... Don't wanna get the guys hopes up...

Deer and bear are widely available for the host program in BC. Elk and goat is as well in at least some areas.

Just a joke between me and my cousin Rhys suther. We have a dry sense of humour in our family, some struggle with it

Suther, looks like BC is hosting for Canadian residents only--
Alberta on the other hand will welcome Aliens such as Me !
Yeah Thanks Cousin Conor.

I'll be your guy, if you leave an envelope full of slips of paper used to exchange for good and services somewhere that I can just happen across it.

Just kidding F&W, just kidding.

I always knew my father was a bit of a latter day hippy, but I would never have imagined that due to advances in genetic testing I would find out that he had fathered a child in Australia.

Welcome to the family whelenlad, I can't wait for next year's reunion.

WhelanLad If you were a fisherman it would be a gas to show you around some of what BC has to offer.
I'd take you blacktail hunting but can't see how it can be done legally unless you were just the camera man hehe

Did this some years back for a couple "cousins", one from Oz and one from the UK. Deer and moose tags are easy (or were then), and we could still hunt bison without tags then so went after that. - dan

You would have to gift me 'your' trophy so as i could bring home to my wall :) :D
a little re enactment , no biggy

I'd be happy to host you for bears or moose but Ontario does not allow non-resident hosting... sucks because I have a bunch on buddies that would love to come for a hunt. I regularly host Ontario resident friends for hunts.

I am actually hosting a hunter for the first time this year. My friend from Ontario who was my best man when i got married finally got his Rpal
Got him a permit to accompany for October so he will be joining me in Blacktail deer camp here in BC. I am super excited.
On top of that, the girl we chose as a flower girl to acompany the ring bearer at our wedding..... two young kids at the time..... well she is all grown up and in her 20's and is an eager hunter. She has never harvested a big game animal so she will also be joining us in deer camp and I am going to do my very best to get her on to a mature buck this fall. Her dad, a good friend of ours, a true sportsman and avid hunter of birds, passed away a few years ago so it is a great honor for me to take this girl hunting.
