this is so old......... i saw it in OT when they had it up in running....... but ya the go after them with kifes i no a guy who was hunting deer and one ATTACKED him and he stuck it with a knife he has the scars to prove it too.

Ok, I am not with green peace, I dont smoke weed and I dont know the words to the cumbaya song, but WTF :?: Maybe I'm culturally ignorant and I'm missing something here, but I can't agree with kicking or beating any animal unless for self-defense. Don't get me wrong, I would gladly hunt them in a fair chase and kill them cleanly. I'm sorry, even if the pig was eating the feed and you can't scare it away...it's part of the game. I swear, if I ever see a guy pulling this off, he'll be the one squealing :twisted:

Pigs are nuisance animals and they are killed as varmints year around in most places. If you think that a kick in the ass was harmful to that pig you are dreaming. The hunter was just getting the pig away from his bait quickly and quietly without getting himself hurt in the process. You can bet if it was a bigger boar he would have shot it instead... maybe the pig would have preferred that :idea: :lol:

was prolly screwing up his deer hunt, no self respecting deer would hang with a hog if given the choice, was the right choice of action and made for a once in a lifetime op. Don't feel too bad about porky taking a size 12 up the can, anyone that has raised a pig will tell you how tough they are, he wasn't hurt at all.

Kicking a small pig keeps it alive and really puts the run on it. Happens at the farm all the time.
No man in his right mind would have walked up to a 200 lb or larger boar, and kicked it, without a stopper caliber rifle. (Except maybe Bigredd the crazy ####er)
Its not that your culturally ignorant, your ignorant to what the Boar is in most of the world where it lives in the wild. They are pests in every sense of the word. If you've ever seen the destruction a few pigs can do rooting, you'd understand the mentality towards them.

They are and can be very dangerous animals.
Yeah, we don't have them here and I was not raised on a pig farm, but yes I would rather shoot it than kick it. If they can hurt the deer in your area, why not deal with them as we deal with bears, wolfs and coyotes :?: Shoot them on the spot or hunt them before or after deer season if you don't want to blow your cover :idea: Kicking it solves nothing because they are still out there...Shoot them and you may see some results + get meat for the freezer :wink:
