Each province has their own course usually combined with the federal firearms safety course.

Does anyone have any online links where I could download the hunter's certification courses from the different provinces?

No link, but I think most (all provinces but Quebec?) separate them. Hunting is provincial and firearms are federal.

Can you be clearer what you are looking for?

Hey,

Here is the link for the hunter ed. course here in nova scotia, apparently it is the same course being taught throughout all of the maritime provinces.

On another note maybe you can direct me were to go to get a wildlife card for Quebec. Do you know if Quebec will honor courses or cards from other provinces and if so how do I go about doing this?

Website for ON. Note that if you already have a firearms licence, but do not have proof that you took the CFS COURSE, as opposed to challenging the exam, you are required to have extra hours in your hunter education course that includes firearms handling. If you have a hunting licence from another jurisdiction, you can have one chance to challenge the ON hunting licence exam.

Actually I obtained my Quebec hunter's certificate back in the 70s, the second year it bacame mandatory. I also got my "A" arc (bow) certification in the early 90s.
I am looking for these publications out of curiosity to see how each province approaches this sort of thing.
I understand Ontario has a special course re turkey hunting but I may be wrong.
Quebec offers the hunter's and firearms courses as seperate items but they explain that both are required for gun hunting. Usually they bundle the courses one day after the other or something like that.
Thanks for the input.

Me too... I got mine in 1974 (getting old) and did my archery in 1986.... both certifications appear on the same green card. In fact, I just bought a new bow (Bowtech) and my Bear Whitetail is now for sale on the EE if you are interested.

Regards
Robert
