Is http://aheia.com/ a legit training site for Alberta Hunters Ed requirements? I asked in General forum got no answers prolly here is better.

It works to get a hunting licence and is accepted in B.C.

Yes I did the online course. It takes about 6 hours and is pretty easy. They mail you a card in the mail so that you can get your WIN number.

There was a time when you took hunter ED in school, that's where I took mine. That was back in a much better time in Canadian history when firearms and hunting were part of everyday culture. It is sad to think back to those days and see how far we have declined!

I already got my WIN number.. I guess I will need to have proof for both.

You can get a win number without a hunters safety because you need the win number to get a fishing permit. Once you have the safety you can have your win card updated and then you can buy tags and draws.
