I'm challanging my Hunter's Ed test tomorrow...

Hunted many years ago with my father during simpler times...

Any tips would be helpful as I can't take the course (every class is full this season) so I have to challange it.

I heard the practical portion of the test includes using a compass, what exactly do they look for?

In this modern day of GPS, my compass has been gathering dust since my boyscout days :(

Any help would be great!

I believe it's a multiple choice test, just like the CFSC

I'm working on major time constraints here, an instructor is letting me come in during the final hour of tomorow's course to challange the test with those who attended.

What does the test focus on the most?

it basicly asks you to identify types of animals from descriptions like puddle ducks or deer from their tracks and then hyou get asked to "type" a gun by the action and practical you are asked to pic up a specific gun or choose one and the proper ammo. just make sure you remeber "proove" your fire arm

Good on you Seth

I can't wait to spend some time out in the field when I get back home.

PS - Amsterdam is awesome.

UPDATE!

I walked into the class 10 minutes before the test, wrote it in 15 Minutes and walked out as the only person in 26 people to ace the test

100%

Thanks guys for your help!
