Earlier this month I put my Winchester 94, 30-30 manufactured in 1908 on the EE, no real interest and as I was leaving town I took it down. After thinking about it I decided to hunt my property with it this year, both Whitetail and Moose. Most shots are limited to under 100 yards. I’ve never hunted with it before, but it is in great shape, mirror barrel, crisp action. I will have my 30-06 along for field hunting as well. I have a young friend who grew up with my sons and have decided that at the end of the day I will bequeath it to him. He loves the old 94, I have never hunted with a lever rifle before and am looking forward to it, it will also be the first year my 11 year old grandson will be able to hunt deer as Alberta is lowering the age to 10 this year.

Giving a Rifle to someone which loves it as much as you do is by far the best outcome, endles satisfaction by all Parties. I have done the same myself and will likely do some more of that.
