I have a cousin who retired and moved from Alberta to Chase B.C. Went to visit for a few days recently. What is to hunt in the area? He says he sees some pheasants and ruffed grouse around. And black bear. I took a drive around and saw some mule deer. Are there white-tails around?

My mom and step-father live in Chase.
Some white tails around. I don't think there's a season for the pheasants, I believe they are trying to reintroduce them.
I usually hunt a little North of there (top end of Adams Lake) lots of deer, bear, and moose. BUT there have been some really big Mulies taken just west of town on the other side of the river (15-20 min).
