bull, IIRC Nova Scotia and maybe Ontario allow raccoon hunting at night with dogs and 22 LR.

There is this strange thing called a flashlight.
Night vision scopes are certainly legal in Canada, although most places dont' allow night hunting.
Night hunting is pretty common in many other countries. People in north america seem to think it's dangerous for some reason, but the truth is most just dont' know how to do it safely. Sorta like driving a car, if you dont' know how to drive...well, it's pretty dangerous!

I have hunted at night in Hungary - it takes quite a bit of getting used to. Believe me, those 56mm objective lenses and high quality glass come in handy. You can make accurate shots if you have good moonlight and especially in the winter with snow on the ground. But I have to say, when my guide said "Do you see the dark boar?", my immediate reaction was "they are all dark!".

Saskatchewan certainly does not allow it, except for treaty Indians hunting under treaty rights, on land to which they have legal access, and no artificial lights may be used.
The only place I have personally hunted at night was Germany. Wild boars are commonly hunted at night there. It is a unique experience.

What hunting regs did you find that gem in? Or did you make it up?
oh im sorryyyyy as far as i read, night vision wasnt allowed, military yeah blah blah. and also who hunts with flashlights. good to alert ur what ur hunting that ur coming. hey look at me i got a flashlight wooooo.also all the other hunting stuff ive read said sun up to sun down was hunting time. so pardon me if i offended ur delicate sensibilities.
