Hunting Bear in BC

I think I have this one down right, but just wanting to double check. Burning incense (honey or similar berry flavors) to attract bears in BC wouldn't be considered baiting would it? I'd think it'd be covered under scents which would be OK... but I've been wrong once or twice before

Edit: in BC regs, baiting - illegal / scents - all good

Pretty sure it's considered a scent, just not 100% on it. Cook your bacon on a camp stove at your blind! You get out nice and early and your breakfast might just bring in a bear! Eat many apples for snacks, and throw the cores down your shooting lane.

I'm pretty sure it would be considered baiting. Consult the definition of bait in the wildlife act.

There are tree huggers out here who would be welcomed at many hunting stands!

Bears in BC are plentiful; there's no need to bait for them nor any reason to ban baiting. I'm surprised this keeps coming up.
