hunting black birds, starlings and grackles

That NORTHERN line is north of the French and either Magnetewan or Mattawa Rivers, I cant recall which exactly and when I opened the mnr site to review the regs I cant find the page numbers you refer to or the description of the boundaries. They arent opening for me and I cant get to all the info?
It is in this one, page 3 of 6 in the WMU's.

My issue on this thread was that this is the second time in less than a month where someone has said 'this is open all Ontario, all year' when there are restrictions as I pointed out.

The best time to hunt redwing black birds and grackles is now.

Last year we shot probly close to 500 redwings in a week.

I can tell you my skeet game has improved a lot after shooting 3 flats of shells at them lol

How do call them into shooting range or do you sit and wait for the hoards of birds to fly by. I have never heard of anyone going out to specifically hunt these birds. We have scads of grackles here, maybe a day or two in the bush would thin a few out.

I use an iPhone app called chirp lite. it's for bird lovers and has a good selection of song bird calls. It wasn't meant to be used as a hunting app but I'm not sh!tting you, they flock to my iPhone lol. :)

iHunt Calls is another great app with some quality audio tracks. I've used the coyote, crow and squirrel with success and have heard a response from and owl call.
