Hunting Blade Suggestions?

Methinks this thread was to draw views to that 'custom' knife page.
I think this is astute.
And having a quick look my self, I had to laugh out loud.
I make my own knives and rarely buy one these days as I, like maybe 20,000 misguided fools, got into knife making when I binged the first four seasons of FiF.
I have a home made forge and a cheap grinder but I can turn out a knife that is good enough for me and the people I gift them to.

But imo, no knife, ever, anywhere, under any circumstances, is worth anywhere near $2000, let alone the numbers I see on some custom knifemakers work.

OK, lets say you are being dragged toward a cliff by a mad buffalo and someone running alongside offers you a knife to cut the rope. THAT knife might be worth $2000.

I haven't used it in a while but this is an excellent all around knife.
Bob Dozier whitler 3" blade
Dozier knives are made with d2 steel and their company is famous for their excellent heat treat.
Well worth the money if you don't mind spending it.
