Hunting boots?

I've got a pair of uninsulated Cabela's Dura Trax boots that I picked up about 7 years ago. I've used them in the spring in the arctic out on the ice trapping muskrats in the slushy overflow. Worked well with a couple of pairs (midweight merino wool and heavyweight classic wool) socks. Never had cold feet in them despite not being insulated.

I like Muck Boots as well. Took a pair to the Yukon with no troubles at all. Only thing I could see as a problem would be the tops may be prone to tearing in rough brush. Didn't happen to me, but wondered about it.

That's what happened to my Muck Boots, only one week of hunting though the swamp and heavy brush and the neoprene was getting pretty torn up.
Too bad as they are light and very comfortable, just not very durable under these conditions.

Trying out some Baffin Trappers right now, a lot heavier boot.
Hopefully they are better quality than the Kamik Hunters, I have had no luck with those either.
