I used a couple of those low-to-the-ground folding chairs illustrated above for years while turkey hunting. For that use, where I would be likely to move a few times in a day's hunt, I liked it; way better than trying to get comfortable on the ground, and not much higher than sitting on your butt. And uncharacteristically (for a Cabela's-branded product) mine were quite durable.
I've had a couple of those 500-series Cabela's folding chairs recently, and they were comfortable enough until they fell apart...which never seemed to take very long. Usually a season or two and they were done.
When I am hunting at home, I have a couple permanent blinds set up on my land, and I now use two of the Blackout swivel/folding chairs. They're way too heavy to schlep around every day, but I put them out in the blinds before the season and then leave 'em out there until hunting is over. They've worked well for me for the past three years.
If I were looking for a hunting chair right now, I'd check out WalMart. They sell, or at least sold, a fishing chair that I got about two years ago and I love it; I think it would be great as a blind chair as well. It folds, has backpack straps, a couple of roomy storage pockets and best of all the legs are individually adjustable (no tools required) for length and are equipped swivelling foot cups that conform to various surfaces. Super comfortable, and mine has held up well to a bunch of fishing use on both rocky shorelines and on the ice. No swivel, unfortunately.
