I think I have figured out how to succeed with distress calls but I have no idea what to do this time of year.
I do have a Foxpro and a few coyotes sounds... what the hell do I do with them? Also should I use my Renzo coyote silhouette decoy?

I shot this short video of a coyote I was playing with during the 2008 deer season. I wasn't allowed to shoot them so I just had some fun calling them in, scaring them off and then calling them back. There were two to start with. The best I can figure is this one was trying to call his buddies in for some reinforcments. He got angry but kept his distance and starting barking, growling, snarling, howling and walking in circles. Not very good video, but you can hear him pretty good. I would imagine, again, the barking is calling for help. Any howling you would do would be to locate dogs.

Also check out Primos "Mastering the hunt" on Youtube or where ever. Lots of barking , howling and calling technics.

I have brought in Coyotes with barks and howls when distress wasn't working.
