Hunting cut life jacket

Hey all. Im in search of a new life jacket for kayak hunting. Having a hard time finding one that i can wear and still shoot with while wearing. Camo would be best. Theres nothing local and i checked out mec co op and nothing is suitable. Wheres a good place to look
Im 5'10" 170lbs. Bit of a belly but mostly a triangluar shaped torso...with a gut.
What brands are good and allow movement and shooting so a mesh shoulder strap
I do not want an inflatable one
 
Mustang floater vest. Not sure if they come in camo though? Also, it would add a inch or so to the LOP which may make it slower to shoulder your shotgun.
It is more like wearing a padded vest than a life preserver and they provide plenty of floatation if you find yourself needing it.
 
I wear something like this when hunting from the canoe. I just wear it under my camo. Theres a version available at Canadian Tire (Coleman or Stearns or whoever makes it)

My canadian tire carrys stearns or what ever but only had padded shoulders. That pic is what im looking for

The auto inflate ones can go off with rain or if you get splashed. Ive seen afew go off and dont want to keep recharging them
 
You can also get the manual pull only which are a lot less money. They have a lot more boyancy than a regular vest which might be nice considering hunting boots- knife- heavier clothing etc.
 
Ask at a paddling store for a kayaking specific life jacket. They generally are perfectly suited to shooting imo as they are designed for the shoulder rotation and freedom of movement required for kayaking. Serves as a great fishing vest and stuff as well.

I'm planning to wear it for goose this fall after I finish the hack job shotgun mount on my ocean kayak big game II and generally prep for waterfowl.
 
Bass pro in Calgary has what you want camo .....no padding up on the shoulders.....sizing is off ..I am 6ft 180lbs Had to buy size xl.thats with a shirt on

Nice kayak. I was seriously considering that one. I might still buy one for bigger waters

I've also seen that style for about $50 in Walmart. Cabelas and bass pro as well. My large friend got a big one from bass pro.
