My Rifle is a 30 30 Marlin 1960 Carbine.
Is it the flattest, hardest hitting. Well no. But I know the gun, it's limitations, and where it shines,... I am skilled with that gun, like no other, and I have owned many.
My boots are Irish Setters. They were the most expensive comfortable boot that I found in 3 outdoor stores. I had hunted in rubbers with blisters ny whole life. When i got my first bigger paycheque from a career change, that was my gift to me. Still have em, love em.
My stove is an MSR dragonfly, it was my wedding gift from my wife
My GPS was 129$ from Canadian Tire and serves my purposes quite well.
My compass came from switzerland, and I know little about except it can't be destroyed to easily and is pretty high end. (it was a gift)
Back pack is a camo, hmmm, Rocky? Or Re something or other?
I didn't look at the label when I bought it and still am never sure. It fit great, had a rifle holder and great support.
My low activity winter gear is a Mustang Survival Floater suit, and my high activity is to be replaced this winter.
I have no need for equipment that is beyond my purposes. I am not a collector.
My knives are an Ontario, something or other, Survival? rarely use it. The other is a buck, the other is an Alaskan pro guide, or federation of Alaska something or other.
My gear as you can see is not top of the line, but for the most part, is good quality for what i use it for, and I have no doubt that me 10 yrs ago would have no problem keeping up with me now, it'd just be a little less comfortable.
