Nah, more like a Bayman thing, some of them, especially when excited, barely speak english as I know it (being from the opposite side of the country).

Fire, cast iron pan, pound of butter, salt and pepper. Deep fry.

Salt and pepper the fillet and cook in cast iron with butter. Simple and always turns out good. Easy quick not so different.

Yep as others have said. Fried in butter. No need to filet. The backbone just lifts out. And served with those little potatoes boiled and with more butter. Salt and pepper and butter is all you need

Soy sauce and some maple syrup glaze. Usually my go to for cedar plank salmon.
