Hunting gear you carry

Depends if I’m dogging or still hunting or just sitting. If I’m dogging or still hunting I carry a very small fanny pack with some necessities like fire start, a knife, compass, whistle, some cord etc. There is a pouch on one side for 500ml water. Also 5 extra rounds and a couple granola bars. If I’m sitting I have a much larger fanny pack that holds stuff to keep me warm plus the above.
 
Maybe this merits it's seperate thread...but I'm wondering why you have a cell phone in your kit? Do you carry it to contact people in case of problems, to take pictures, as a GPS, to play games in your blind (not judging, I became a master of that Garmin find the dragon game hehe), check out hunting sites or hunting apps or something else? Just curious.

Where I moose hunt, we have no signal, so I have to make due with that constraint hehe.

In my case 90% of my hunting area has cell coverage. I use it as gps also have Ihunter with county maps loaded.it also serves as a backup light, I can mark and add/ find waypoints, take pics, use for emergency calls or to call a buddy to help pack a critter out. It also serves as my watch to know legal shooting light/ when's.need to be out of the woods for other commitments and such.
Most of my GPS and I hunter is cashed on my phone so no data/ service is needed.
Used to carry gps and camera extra light ECT..phone replaces 4-5 other items I used to pack
 
I typically wear one of those redhead fanny/waist packs with the shoulder straps for our day hunts, I find it has ample room for everything I need.

On my person:

Range finder

In/on my pack:
GPS
Water
