Hunting Gloves

I wear heavy insulated gloves or mitts

when it comes time to shoot the right hand glove/mitt comes off and sometimes ends up in the snow

When duck hunting in temps down to the minus teens, I use cotton liners with the fingertips cut out. A few years on the commercial fishing boats made my hands a lot more cold resistant.

Super cheap if you find them in a US surplus store. I bought them for $2 a pair.

I tried many and settled for thin gloves inside a muff with a hand warmer... This is the best I have found.

I have two setups depending on the type of hunting I am doing:

The first, while on the move, I hunt with thin gloves inside leather mitts. The second, when hunting from a bling/stand, I wear the same small gloves and keep my hands in one of those hand warmer/fanny packs.
