Hunting Grouse with Slingshot?

I just bought a slingshot last month, the first I've ever owned that was "store bought". As kids, we tried making them, but usually ended up with the thing wrapped around our arm! I bought a couple of bags of marbles and will practice at my cabin. I sure would not want to get hit with a marble shot from a slingshot! The one I bought is an el cheapo ($10) from Canada Tire.:p:p

Go to any transmission shop that rebuilds, and they will have hundreds of used ball bearings, probably for the asking. The ones from old VW trannies are huge!

Dook you took the words out of my mouth...

Here is the secret though don't get the round bearings ask for the 1/2 long tapered roller brg's they tumble as they fly resulting in consistant flight and superiour thump when you hit your target.

Here is a tip on how to shoot your sling shot more accurately hold it side ways use the top part ot the sling shot where the rubber slides onto it as your top sight and like shooting a bow & arrow always pull back to the exact same release point.

With the combo of tapered roller brg's and aiming technique you will be amazed at how deadly you can get.
