Hunting in Banff National Park

Yup hunted the "traditional" way with modern firearms.
How are firearms not traditional to everyone else? We introduced them to natives and had them long before coming to North America so really we have more grounds to call them traditional tools for hunting then they do no? Just an early morning grump. Lol

I sometimes wonder if the Federal government actually understands how actions such as these actually divide us. Two sets of rules makes for frustration when one segment of society is treated differently than the rest of society. One country, one set of rules should be the norm. What an absolute disgrace on the part of the Feds.
A very good point. Treat one kid in your family a lot better with less restrictive rules and then act surprised when there is resentment among the rest.

I didn’t even know there were bison in Banff.
A "reintroduction " program by the Know everythings in Parks Canada, they actually have built fences on several river drainages on provincial land to ensure they don't escape, after several made it almost as far as Sundre before succumbing to lead poison. :ROFLMAO: 30 million of our tax dollars at work

Good series of videos Grizzly, thanx for posting. I would be surprised if the project was all taxpayer funded as Banff being the crown jewel of the parks system takes in more than enough money to cover its own operating expenses as well as those of the other mostly money losing parks.
