I wish it would snow during hunting season out here in Calgary. I've been waiting for a season with enough snow to use my snow shoes for years.

You really don't have to go that far north of Calgary to find good snow.

I hunt in the foothills west of calgary and there has not been a good dump of snow in sometime. To get good snow you hit the parks.

The parks are not the only place with snow, trust me...

We have had almost 3 feet of snow drop in a couple day's here and it is still coming down hard, another 15cm tonight.

I don't see a Grouse to be had any where around here in this weather. It's real crazy out there. High wind and a wall of snow.

Where do Grouse go when there is 3ft of snow on the ground? surely they can't be on the ground haven't seen any roosting in the trees either.

Ah, it will be like last year. Once the season closes on them they will all come out in January and tease you sitting in the trees lol.
