The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters
We hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy in these
Unprecedented and challenging times.#We also know that many of you have questions related to the impact this situation may have on your spring outdoors pursuits.
Can I fish and hunt this spring?#The entire outdoors community is wondering what impact the COVID-19 pandemic will have on fishing and hunting this spring and beyond. With all of the#rumours#and speculation, the OFAH#is pushing for#answers from the government.#
What we know.#At this point, the MNRF has not made any decisions to restrict, delay or cancel provincial fishing and hunting seasons or restrict access to Crown land.#However, some municipalities and Conservation Authorities have already restricted access to their lands, and many retailers that usually offer fishing and hunting licences are no longer open to the public.#
Hopefully, I will get to use them....just bought all the ones I think I may be able to hunt for,
this spring as well as this fall. They are selling them, so, I'm an optimist. Dave.
I tried today.. Said i need to visit the Service Canada office as my 3 years is up? Some new thing. so now that its closed what do i do?

You can update your residency on line, it takes two minutes. You just upload a picture of your DL and they will approve it usually the same day. Then you can buy your license and tags as usual. No big deal, just did mine last week.
There is rumblings they might suspend hunting and fishing seasons for the timr being, Ontario anyways

don't think there will be too many people going to the crowbar hotel any time soon for hunting and fishing related things.
These bloody snowflake politicians are talking about releasing criminals from jail to protect them from corona virus outbreaks in prisons LOL
I'll be hunting, and fishing this season regardless of any potential bans brought out by the province...… even if they shut down the license and tag system.
I can't advise anyone else to do the same but my rights to hunt and fish are enshrined in s35 of the constitution and I intend to fully embrace those rights going forward.
There a few hitches in the way for some people that I can think of even without a "ban" on hunting and fishing (.in Ontario)
Parks are closed. Does this extend to county forests too? Lots of people fish at public parks and hunt at county forests. There is also currently a ban on groups of greater then 5 people. Although I dont expect that will extend to the fall, that would seriously hamper hunt camps around central Ontario.
