Hunting over standing crops

Is it legal to hunt over standing crops? For some reason I'm thinking it isn't, but I can't find anything in the regs or online right now. The reason I'm asking is that my main stand overlooks two fields and both have winter wheat growing on them right now. The wheat is still quite small so I could remove the downed animal with minimal damage, but if it's illegal, then that stand is out of the question for this fall.
 
I'm pretty sure baiting only implies something that's not growing


If you weren't allowed to hunt where crops are growing, you couldn't hunt 95% of my area
 
If you have standing crops you may not see anything from what I'm experiencing right now with the warm weather and standing crops on my farm the deer are coming out Later and bedding early because there is no competition for food yet. You might be better off staking out a well used trail that's leading to the fields to catch them moving in the the early evening or returning to their beds in the late morning.

But if your seeing shooter deer in the fields its 100% Legal to hunt over crops in Ontario.
 
Thanks for the responses guys. It must have been in regards to waterfowl or turkey or something. I was sure I heard it somewhere. I was starting to worry about where to set up for next weeks m/l hunt. The young wheat coming up may be a good attractant. Hopefully the corn on the other side of the gully is gone by the weekend too.
 
If there is standing corn you need to find the trail leading them to it also deer bed right in the middle of standing corn so I hope for your sake its down.
 
also with standing corn, on a windy day, try sneaking through it, can be a lot of fun. deer seem to come outta no where. just go slow and walk in between rows.

The field is bordered by gullies on one side with a couple of "fingers" poking way out into the field. There isn't a trail leading to it, there are many trails. My biggest problem is they have the bedding area, food, and water all within about 100yds, and with dry standing corn and crunchy leaves, along with steep terrain in the gullies it is impossible to sneak up on them. If it gets rainy, it may well be worth a try though.
