Hunting -- Philosophy for Everyone

Hey All,

Just thought some of you might be interested in this book of mine that just came out: Hunting -- Philosophy for Everyone: In Search of the Wild Life (http://ca.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-1444335693.html).

It's a collection of easy-to-read essays on hunting that try to make the practice both understandable and interesting to hunters and non-hunters alike. A lot of the chapters are written by philosophers who are also hunters (like myself), some aren't philosophers by employment but might be conservation biologists, bloggers, whatever. Some don't even hunt, but find it fascinating and worth considering. Yes, there are some antis in there (one explicitly on purpose, a couple more in undertone), but a book like this can't simply preach to the choir. Critical thinking is all about fair chase! :)

You can see the flyer below, and there's a preview available on Google Books, in addition to what you might find on the publisher's website.

Feel free to repost this in other forums, I'm not a member of many myself. If you want, stop by Edmonton or Medicine Hat (during hunting season) and I can autograph it fer ya!

Cheers, Nathan
