hunting pop up blind repair

a squirrel decided to eat its way thru my pop up blind.
contacted the company (rhino) to see if they had any material i could buy to repair
and their reply was no we dont sell any

so has anyone repaired a hole in theirs and what did you use and how did you repair it.

I've patched up minor holes with shoe goo, I'm sure a patch made from fabric ( either denim or nylon) smeared with goo would fix you up.

How big is the hole? Tenacious tape could work.

Also, I have used gorilla tape to patch some pretty big holes and tears.

Just make sure the material is dry, clean and warm and put tape on the inside and outside so it sticks to itself.

Patched a normal bunch of tears on mine in the past using Gorilla Tape, they even make it in camo, the original Gorilla Tape not the knockoff. The rest of the tent fell apart but the taped parts stayed together. Buy a cheap Princess camo tarp, cut out the missing piece shape and tape new an old with Gorilla Tape.

The material is not usually strong enough to take much sewing. I have had good luck using gorilla tape.

I've never had to repair a pop up but have repaired similar materials with gorilla tape as other have mentioned. One thing I'd add is that I use it on the inside and the outside of the repair.

What material is your tent made from ?

There is material specific tent patching kits out there... Just google it. Last tent I've bought had a repair kit included.

I have success repaired rips on blinds, treestand cushion and backpacks with those iron on patches (stole those from my wife but think you can find those at most fabricland, walmart or sometimes at dollar stores).

Just use low heat test on scrap material to figure the heat level it needs to properly adhere to your type of fabric.

First thing you're going to want to do is sight in your squirrel rifle.

Tuck tape duct tape gorilla tape blinds are expensive enough so I would just use what I have handy

I use the camo Gorilla tape. patched sections are stronger than the unpatched.

Hate to admit it but i use camo gorilla tape as well and it works pretty good
