I've held an x-bolt and wasn't too thrilled with the feel of the action itself.
The Tikka was out-of-the-box smooth. And though it really caught my attention, I do want to give the Remington a gander. I'm not against the Remington, but the recall has made the availability tough and the random claims I've noticed about recent quality are a minor not that aren't a concern, but not ignored either.
Tikka is pulling me, but a Remington in the hands is still needed.
