I've responded to plenty of comments on news articles along the lines of "Anyone who needs to hunt with one of those must be a terrible shot! All I need is 1 shot from my 30-30!" etc etc.
All trolls? I think there's a definite number of gun owners who are good with anything besides their choice of hunting rifle should be banned.
Not calling people "Fudds" or commenting on that whole issue, mind.

Been wondering about that...Guessing they clarify that statement pretty fast and say "only if it was NR in the first place!" But it shows they are moving so fast and unorganized on this one that they haven't thought any of it all the way through. But for now it seems you are right!
For now I guess its Shroedinger's Rifle? Can't be used to hunt, unless you are actually using it to hunt?
They must not have looked far enough beyond the Section 35 challenge to see the ramifications.
As interesting as it would be to drop a whitetail this fall with a restricted rifle, small gain for having to hand them over in 2 years like everyone else.
I feel like it's a principle factor. Like if enough people got out and did it with some public attention it would be a huge f-you and black eye on the legitimacy of the OIC. Now, I don't personally fall into the category of people that this would apply to legally(even though I'm off grid in the middle of nowhere...), but it's interesting to think about publicly humiliating the Libs.
We get it just fine. Some folks like you want to keep running the same jokers for leadership, thinking that they will get a different result.
Toronto can be won with the right candidate, which could be all the difference we need. The provincial Conservatives just spanked the liberals into unoffical party status.

No, you're not, as they were restricted and not allowed to be used for hunting before being classed as prohibited. It explicitly says "previously non restricted, which are now prohibited".
Anyhow, I know a lot of native hunters and none of them use non restricted "black guns" for hunting. This is just Liberals trying to stir the racist pot.
What is the recognized %, to be considered Native in Canada? A guy I worked with, that was as Caucasian looking as you could get,{reddish hair even} his Mom did all the paperwork etc. & he got his Status card. I think he said 1/8th Native Blood? This was over 10 years back. Something {worth} looking into, perhaps.
