hunting stone's sheep?

Brambles, yes I shot one in 2004, and the other in 2005.

First one was 290yds... 7-08 AI and 140gr Accubond

Second one was 45yds.... 7-08 AI and 140gr Accubond

I guess I should feel honored to be quoted by the omnipotent 280 Ackley....:p

I congratulate you on both those Rams... they are as awesome as the mountians they live in. I am betting on a third Stone Sheep for you this year.:)

I am betting on a third Stone Sheep for you this year.

My brother and I have a 14day trip planned already... it gets in your blood no doubt. It is the worst disease I've ever had (next to Beaver Fever (grin)).

Just spending time in their country makes the trip (took me 4 trips to connect with my first ram), and you never feel as if you got "skunked".

My brother has not taken a ram, so my goal will be to help him connect.

So while not counting on taking a ram, if an old 40" Hawg crosses my path.....

Sheep country is to die for, so I plan to spend every season in the mountains until I physically can't do it! Taking a ram is just a bonus!

I hear you on that one 280, I used to think hunting whitetail was addictive. I'd rather chase the rams any day. Sure is a challenge to find a decent area and not bump into other guy's. You find out what your made of in a hurry too, I was so desperate for training last year I started packing my 4 1/2 month old son up and down the stairs, doing deep lunges every step until I couldn't make another flight. That fixed me up suprisingly well for the hikes to come.

Nice rams Guy's!
