hunting tips? (or hunters in the upper fraser valley?)

Hi hunting nutz, I've always very much wanted to go hunting myself, but I don't really have any contacts that are into the sport. I'd really like it if I could find somebody to show me the ropes and take me out a few times. I want to learn how to put venison into our freezer

Any kind of hunting that interests you? I mostly do big game, not waterfowl or varmints, though rabbits can be fun on private land.
