Well My father and I whent out deer hunting sunday afternoon and just got back a few minutes ago. anyway we didn't get a deer but we seen 2 does.
we'll be back out later in the season to get one :D . anyway we didnt come home skunked though as we ended up with 10 grouse and a rabbit.

We busted the eahaust system and then got a flat about a minute later lol :mad: so we had to go scrounge some parts from and old crushed up ford that was sitting in a gravel pit.

Our repairs didn't last too long so we just hacked it off with an axe lol

great pics its always a fun time out hunting.what kind of back-up did you have for the bushcow.i hear they can be very dangerous
 
Appreciate the photos - resided in Prince George in the 1950s and still miss the place - the grouse hunting was great. Good luck on your next hunt

well i was huting off the Pelican FSR off of Blackwater Rd if you remember where that is. anyway it's like an hour 1/2 from my house to our campsite. about 20mins to the blackwater rd off of HWY 16, then about another 15min to the pelican FSR then about an 40mins from their to our campsite witch is right across from 47rd.

all i had was the 12ga. maybe I should start a Cow defense thread lol. find out what others use to defend themselves agaist this vicsous predator :runaway:

Look's like the two of you enjoyed yourselves despite getting a deer.
And I would have to say that this is the first time I have seen picture's of the "easy clean" method of cleaning grouse :)
