Hunting vehicle

I use a 1999 dodge ram 1500 5.9 litre gasser with a 3 inch lift and 35's. she's old enough that I don't worry about any dents in the body from riding trails. It has quite a few dents and scratches from tree branches already.

Yummies......................^^^^^^^^
I think I have a transmission case left over from my 1942 Willy.
Not sure what else is out there, need to look under the benches.
It's amazing where those critters will go.

I always thought these were perfect for hunting with a small trailer

I would say anything suzuki, tons of aftermarket support, cheap to fix, run forever and go anywhere with the right mods

The old rig

The new project

And the current rig

The biggest thing is to find them rust free or forget about buying them.

+3 for Jeeps
the transfer case works wonders offroad and the higher ground clearance will take you over things you wouldn't believe.

Nice, I had a Tracker for a few years it would go anywhere

Here is one I took of my reliable little Kritter.

This vehicle is probably great to get to where you need to go....once you're there. But to drive hundreds of miles in? Geez...its a chiropractor's dream come true. I have really bad memories of one particular hunting trip in a vehicle exactly like this (except it was white). We got lost, got there late, and then, because no light left, we had to sleep in the car. It was -20 or so, tight because the back was full of stuff, so no way to recline the seat, and man, we had already suffered 8-9 hour drive. Not good. Not good at all.

Plus we kept driving on this road, and kept seeing the same sign...Dodge street!! We were just trying to get out of Dodge but couldn't find our way out!!!

My samurai came from the Oregon desert, the white Sidekick was from Spokane Washington, both were/are rust free which is almost impossible to find north of the border. I sold the Samurai to a guy up north in alberta, It would go anywhere the way it was set up.

Suzukis are cheaper to run than a jeep and will run many more miles without any major parts or service required unlike a jeep. just my 2 cents
