Love the cheetah, it would be funny to see the C Os reason for given out a ticket if all was legal
i have a deer x wolfhound and my RM will not allow hunting of yotes with it.
i have even been in and asked for an amendment to the RM rules, what a waste of my time and fuel.
its not encouraging at all.
why each and every RM different?
why so many rules/regs/by laws?
keep it simple and do the laws either federal or provincial FFS
if i had a spare 10k i would buy a cheetah just for the hell of it
Hunt with a savanna f2
What if you used a indigenous/FN cat or dog ???????????????
Let er rip boys...
Had a yellow tomcat that as soon as he seen my gun he would run to my side. He would sit ten feet out in the field under me. Just like having radar. Coyote showed up he would come back to me. Anything else and he sat and waited for the shot. Was my hunting
buddy for awhile.
This was my thinking. Wait, are you saying you DO hunt with a savanna?
That's cool. A cat will never be a pure dog ie hang out with you till the bitter end and take one for the team. I can live with that. Other than the global warming threads, I think the next most controversial on CGN are the cat v. dog threads.
In my view, both animals have their positives and negatives. That said, I've yet to have my cat whine in the blind. I've had a "mostly" trained family dog take off for "something" many a time. Btw, I trained my cat to come and yes I can train a dog. I did it for our family starting when I was still at home and 14 or so. Good times.
I had deerhounds for years now, as many as three at one time. Much fun had bouncing a bunny up while walking! Esp. if all that jack rabbit had ever dealt with before was fat and slow spaniels and the like!
I hear ya on both the over-abundance of petty regulations varying from place to place, as well as on the cat thing.
Now, picture a couple cheetahs in the back of a truck, and bouncing a coyote...
Cheers
Trev
I would never let my cat off leash outside. Personal fear of losing my buddy. But I have also trained him to come to me. And I've trained him to not do things, with the no command. Anything he wants to do, eat whatever. If I say no, he won't until I address him and let him. Cats are beyond smart. Just really don't want to let you be the boss![]()
