Contact your local Wildlife Office. There should be a provision to allow you to apply for an exception for up to 5 years so you can shoot from a non moving motorized vehicle. May even be an application on their web site. It will be a long process with Doctors letters to.
Best of luck.

You'll have to get some information from your Doctor and from your local wildlife office.
Forms and documentation.
Each Province is going to have their own set of rules and requirements.

In BC if you are genuinely disabled you can use a vehicle in road closed areas with a permit. See if Sask. offers the same.

You can in Manitoba, I believe there is even a prohibition against being more than 50 metres from a mobility vehicle if you are hunting on a disabled permit

Below knee amputee here.
Not as difficult as you have it stumpy, I usually plan my hunts to have as short a hike as possible. Yet to look into considerations as I don't have an atv or anything that would help anyway.

yeah having a second real knee , would make life quite a bit easier .... i dont have a quad yet either ,i see on the form you have to nominate a vehicle ....

Contact the Sask Wildlife Fedn and ask for their policy on disabled hunting. You aren't the first hunter who can't get around as easily. It will help to have them in your back pocket.

From memory, there is a very clear will in the regulations to give accommodations for the physically disabled. Things like firing from a motor vehicle, loaded firearm in a vehicle, and driving off road to collect downed game are a couple of the conditions that SERM (or whatever their name is today) give. There may even be other season openings so you, and youth hunters for instance, aren't in competition with the abled bodied hunters. Don't remember all the specifics.

In you case, consider having a pair of legs to drag things back to the road allowance or wherever you can park safely. But there are any number of options like still hunting, using a blind or a tree stand (assuming you can climb ladders) and using baits.

In Ont, if you have a handicap parking permit, your good to go for hunting on motorized vehicles. Also you are authorized to fish under the "conservation" rules of the fishing regs.

In BC the handicapped parking permit is just that. Good for Safeway or Costco.

I have heard of people abusing it and taking vehicles into a motor vehicle closed area with that as a justification, but it doesn't wash. They need a permit from the MOE.

I hope this doesn't sound rude,
But your prosthetic leg looks bad ass! Camo and everything.
Glad it's not stopping you from doing things you like?

If this sounded rude, please understand that is NOT how I intended.

Where do you get your info from??
A person is deemed to be the holder of a Recreational Fishing Licence
if they are:
1. Residents of Ontario and Canada under 18 years old, or 65 years of
age or older and in possession of any licence, permit, certificate or
identification card issued by the Government of Canada or a
provincial or territorial government of Canada that indicates their
name and date of birth.
2. A resident of Ontario and Canada with a disability, eligible for and in
possession of:
• a valid Canadian National Institute for the Blind National Identity
Card issued to them; or,

A valid Ontario Accessible Parking Permit issued under the
Highway Traffic Act
; or,
• a black and white photocopy or printed version of an electronic
copy of
a valid Ontario Accessible Parking Permit issued under the
Highway Traffic Act
accompanied by any licence, permit, certifi
-
cate, or identification card issued by
the Government of Canada or
a provincial or territorial government of Canada that indicates the
person’s name and date of birth; or,
• any licence, permit, certificate or identification card issued by the
Government of Canada or a provincial or territorial government o
f
Canada that indicates the person’s name and date of birth. This
individual must require the direct assistance of another person to
fish and to follow applicable laws in respect of fishing because of
a condition of mental impairment or a developmental disability, a
learning disability or dysfunction or a mental disorder. The person
accompanying the above person does not require a fishing
licence if they are only assisting, but must have a licence if they
wish to engage in fishing.
Those who qualify to fish with a deemed licence must follow the
same catch and possession limits as a Sport Fishing Licence.
As for hunting a handicap parking permit does not allow for hunting from a motorized vehicle.
It is illegal to have a loaded firearm in or on, or
discharge a firearm from, an aircraft, vehicle (including
snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle) or motorboat
or
anything towed by the boat. An exception to this rule is that
a person may obtain an authorization through the local
ministry office if the person’s mobility is impaired and the
person meets one of the following criteria:
1. A paraplegic or hemiplegic.
2.
A single (above the knee) lower limb amputation or a
double (below the waist) amputation.
3.
Suffers severe disability and cannot hunt without the use
of a wheelchair or similar means of locomotion. In this
case, the hunter must provide a medical certificate stating
disability.
The authorization is valid for a period of up to five years for a
person with a permanent disability.
A loaded firearm may be carried in, and discharged from, a
canoe or boat that is being paddled, with no motor attached.
Please read the regs!!

So it's like a giant dental implant?

Please tell me that you've played practical jokes on people with it!
Act like you got stuck in a snow blower or something

that is bad ass!!
I've seen a few prostetics done where they take the persons "pre amputation" tatoos and apply them with hydro dip or air brush. I like the theme on yours tho.
We know an older fellow with disability who has permits for hunting from his vehicle. He has a lift gate for his wheel chair and in the box of the pick up is a swivel chair and shooting rest.
Not sure if he's allowed to access areas closed to motor vehicles but we see him every year hunting moose in the same clear cut and had no idea what he was doing was even legal LOL but it is with the right permissions.
