I have a model 185KC in 20 ga.On mine there is a flat section just ahead of the bead that has references for various choke settings. I have not checked just how close these markings are to the actual choke dialled in.
I find the mag is very awkward to insert and the bolt is extremely hard to operate. It is in effect a single shot that can be loaded for three shooting episodes rather than a repeater.
Mine is in excellent condition and came to me durring the purchase of a nice old Belgian Auto 5 for $100 with the Mossie thrown in for nothing. The Browning had shot perhaps 2 or 3 boxes and I doubt the Mossie had seen a complete box of shells.
