Hunting with ATV

Next thing I'm gonna try was something I saw on TV, strapping 4 large prawn trap buoys to each corner of the quad for water crossings. They support 1200LBS and the mud lite tires will act as paddles with their big lugs :D

No water wing's required!

I really wish I had some of the videos of me crossing 8-10ft deep ponds on the grizzly doing water wheelies.

Keep her in 2 wd and crawl into the water until it's about rack deep and gas it to get the front end up. When the nose starts going down give it a little gas to bring the front back up, but not too much as you want to keep it at the same angle as when you're doing a wheelie on land. Repeat until you're across the water. It's nerve racking doing it the first few times, but once you get the feel for it the nerves don't bother you as much. Swamping the machine isn't really a big deal and most can be drove again for the rest of the day after getting filled with water. Just be sure to change the fluids ASAP.
