Hunting with black rifles and shotguns

Post them if you hunt with them, I’ve always loved tactical shotguns and have hunted grouse with them for the last three years. Let’s seem some pics of your black rifles and shotguns and the game you have taken with them, here’s my 20” Fabarm and 14” DA mag fed grizzly. Both are threaded for chokes and get the job done. My less tactical 20” 870 has been christened as well this year.

Come on, I can’t be the only one hunting with black guns??? Nobody has shot any larg game with their bcl102 yet, or any other non restricted black rifles or shotguns? I love blued steel and walnut stocks as much as the next guy but hunting with a black rifle is also fun, post up people!

I went on a fly in moose hunt about a week ago and got this bull at 80 yards. One shot and he went 1-1/2 steps.

I’ve used black rifles and shotguns almost exclusively as my hunting rifles. Su-16, t97, KSG, RFB, 700 tactical, XCR L, SL8, Tavor, Modern Hunter, Troy PAR, BCL 102, and now I have finished my SLR build so it will get the call next. Some never fired a shot while hunting but they were there for that purpose. The SLR seems to be the best, honestly I doubt I would have bought, traded and sold so many rifles if I had something like it before, then again I’m pretty sure I have firearms ADD, I enjoyed it all.

If c71 becomes law (already passed the Commons) the red tuniced horsemen will be tagging some of the tacticools 12x safe queens.

I have a pump shotgun with a 14" bbl that I'll be dumping on the used gun rack and going back to my double bbl 410 with 24" bbl for road chickens.

I have no pics right now but i hunt raccoons and skunks with my derya mk10 with buck shot in it. Works very well.

My 870 express doesn’t look very much like a black shotgun, it’s got more old school looks as far as I see it. Got my daily bag limit with it the other evening, man I really like hunting grouse with it. Not a single hiccup.

I use a jrc 9mm for coyote wolf and grouse.
For shotguns i use mainly a mossberg 535 ats with ati furniture. M4 adjustible stock. 5 shell carrier and anti jam forearm.
Dual pistol gripped mossberg 400g with tacstar grips ati heat shield and shell carrier
Now ill be using a canuck regulator this season
I also use a savage mark2. Fv in a mdt lss chassis

Thanks, it’s just a newer 870 express I picked up last year. I added a laminate stock set, S&J follower and jumbo left hand safety, Rem +2 mag extension and Vickers sling. It’s been flawless, it was a 3 barrel combo the a 20” in the pic, a rifled 23” and a 28” vent ribbed barrel. I’ve been shooting my fair share of grouse with it this year, it’s quickly become my favourite shotgun to hunt with.

My buddy has a goat tag, so I went along for a hike. No Billy's, but 2 Nannies and a kid. Brought the SLR in 6.5 Grendel along, wish he was able to use it on a goat.....next time.

P.S the dirt patch behind the rifle is a goat bed.
